Boston: The Hub for Sport-Based Youth Development

Thursday, 9/19, Sport in Society hosted the panel discussion Building a Positive Culture in Sport-Based Youth Development Organizations. Attended by many from Boston’s youth sport scene, this was the first in a series of panel discussions and networking events that Sport in Society will be hosting to support organizations that strive to use sport for positive youth development.

Thursday’s panelists Tracey Britton, Director of Business Development at Edgework Consulting; Max Fripp, Executive Director of Playworks Massachusetts; Chris Lynch, COO of Squashbusters; and Amanda Smidt, National Manager of Alumni and Career Services at City Year addressed the important, yet often elusive topic of organizational culture.

Future Events will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Northeastern’s Faculty Club, 716 Columbus Avenue, Boston MA and include lunch and time for networking. Additional dates include:
