This report by the National Research Council explores engaging representatives from the formal, afterschool, and informal education sectors from across the U.S. to foster more seamless learning of STEM subjects for elementary and middle school students. It also discusses opportunities for STEM that may result from the new Next Generation Science Standards and the Common Core Standards for Math and Language Arts.
