To develop a high quality, seamless social and emotional learning experience for Boston students throughout the entire learning day.
Every Boston student will realize their full potential with ample opportunities to develop a strong sense of self, think critically, form constructive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
GOALS FOR PSELI BOSTON
- Develop social and emotional skills in young people
- Build the capacity of adults in various settings
- Strengthen the BPS-BASB partnership
- Develop sustainable SEL strategy that weaves SEL throughout schools, OST, and the community
PSELI Network Midyear Convening – January 22, 2019
There were three main objectives for this midyear gathering: to share progress and increase a sense of solidarity within site teams, as well as across the PSELI Boston Network, to expand professional knowledge and expertise in SEL implementation through learning opportunities, and to develop shared goals, strengthen site SEL Action Plans, and determine next steps through June, based on evidence of current progress in school-day and out-of-school time. PSELI Network Convening – September 27, 2018
