April 9th |10:00am-12:00pm | – The Mother & Daughter Spring Conference is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th, 2022 from 10 AM to 2PM to be held at Roxbury Community College. The Mother & Daughter Spring Conference Planning Committee (Mass Bay Community College, Framingham State, Bunker Hill Community College, UMass Boston, Roxbury Community College, the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology and the Boston Public Schools) would like you to join us for this event geared toward all BPS Junior and Senior High School girls and their mothers, and aunts, cousins, grandmothers, sisters, neighbors, friends, who would like to learn about their secondary education prospects and financial aid options. April 19th – June 16th | Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays from 4:00pm-6:00pm | – After school homework help is available for middle school students at Mount Olives Community Center in Hyde Park. More details and contact information are included in this flyer.

 

April 22nd – The Zoo is hosting a Party for the Planet event on Earth Day, and we’ll have 20+ local agencies/companies there to do hands on activities for kids. BPS families and educators get free admission that day. Register here.

 

April 30 | 11:00am-2:00pm| – Reggie Lewis Center. Strong Women, Strong Girls is hosting Jump Into Spring for young people and their families. Programs serving 3-5th graders and up can host a resource table by contacting Tricia at pmcguiness@swsg.org.

 

May 7th – BPS Parent University is hosting a STEM family day at the Dudley Street Neighborhood School. Participation form for organizations who would like to participate.
