The MEDscience Method of teaching is based on a new framework for teaching high school science and exposing students to healthcare careers. The curricular content is delivered in a student?centered, inquiry?based approach, presented in a generalizable framework that has been tailored to the adolescent learner and designed to engage, inspire, motivate, and educate. With the combination of hands-on clinical cases and classroom teaching methods, students are immersed in a challenging but supportive environment that uniquely fosters exploration, discovery and critical thinking through small group problem solving and personal reflections. This instructional model has proven highly effective with a wide variety of learners.
